Disc Herniation, Sciatic Relief

Treatments for sciatic discomfort in the back as a result of herniated discs, or at least information about the many remedies to relieve symptoms are readily available online, thank goodness

No one wants to have to suffer through a herniated disc but there are plenty of options out there. What can you learn about herniated disc treatment, how to prepare and how to have a successful result?

What are the symptoms?

The first thing you need to know is that there are actually different types of therapy for a herniated disc, depending on different factors and your specific condition. Some of these factors include the symptoms which you are experiencing, your age and your past medical history, your activity level and the presence of worsening symptoms.

heat therapyLevels of care

Usually when you go for herniated disc treatments, the doctor will start slow with a milder program and then become more persistent if your discomfort continues and does not get better. As your condition becomes more aggressive, so will your remedy plan need to be more aggressive.

From the moment you are first diagnosed the doctor will begin evaluating your options. The first step is usually to restrict certain activities which make the condition worse. Many people find that just stopping the things that aggravate it can help the affected disc heal on its own. If this is still not working for you, or it seems that your condition is getting worse, you can move on to another stage of treatment. Often ice and  heat applications will be the next stage in the process. This helps relax the muscles and can also  ease your spasm or muscle ache.

Now if you are still going in order of relief possibilities, the next thing you will consider is  physical therapy . This is known to be very helpful. In addition, certain types of prescription medications may be offered at this time. Anti-inflammatory medications are often used to reduce swelling and the pressure that comes with joint swelling. In addition, your doctor may prescribe certain medications, oral steroids or epidural steroid injections. Sometimes as a last resort, surgery may be the only option to remove pressure around the nerves which causes severe physical distress.

As a last resort, when these other methods do not work, your doctor may suggest that you try surgery. It is only used in certain cases as some people are not good candidates for surgery. However, some people find that when nothing else has worked, they can find  relief after surgery. Only your doctor can tell you if this is the best choice for you.

Of course there are other options provided by natural alternative methods that you may wish to explore, some of which are listed at:  Natural Cures

For a pinched nerve, rest the affected area.

Do you have to get surgery if you have a pinched nerve

If it is severe enough, yes, surgery is an option

Back Problems Treatments and Options

One of the most common issues afflicting people today is due to back problems. Each year more people are forced into seeking out one or more effective remedy options. People are searching for much needed relief from this disabling condition which can cause a whole host of problems. At the same time many wonderful advances in  treating back problems  has become available with more opportunities for patients to get effective relief.

Thanks to the availablity of different ways to treat it, some of the fear is taken out of  seeking a cure . It is in your best interest to speak with a doctor to determine which program is best for you. He will diagnose your condition and provide you with suitable options. You may also prefer a natural back pain treatment and they too are available.

> See A List of Natural Remedies For Sciatic Back Discomfort

Drug therapy, analgesics and non-steroidal anit-inflammatory drugs are commonly used to treat conditions that are somewhat minor. There are still other options for pain relief that you can try such as muscle relaxants and opoids.

Treating with the use of drug therapies is a very popular method. There are a number of medications available that will help. Unfortunately some medications lead to suffering from certain side effects which can cause more harm than good.

To reduce swelling and inflammation, turning to non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs like Ketoprofen, Naproxen, ibuprofen and aspirin is common. The latest is NSAIDs, COX-2 Inhibitors which provide more hope that the severe discomfort will subside soon after taking appropriate dosage.

When it concerns using analgesics, Acetaminophen (Tylenol and Phenaphen ) are common brands that are being used to get relief from acute and even chronic back  conditions and are considered as suitable alternatives to NSAIDs.

For those who want relief from their severe state, opiods such as morphine and codeine are choices for fast action. You should always exercise caution when taking medications because some of them can be very addictive.

There is always the option of trying Flexeril or Valium, which are muscle relaxors. For severe cases a muscle relaxant can prove to be an ideal option. Your doctor might also recommend using NSAIDs as these are considered to be very effective.

If you prefer natural treatments they are aslo available, such as ReliefMD. This is an all natural pain relief that helps your joint pain and back pain. So you have many choices, either from your doctor or from using natural back pain cures.

Causes of Sciatica

Causes of sciatica are varied, and unfortunately in many cases the cause of  sciatic pain cannot be identified. It is believed that the general wear and tear of the body can result in sciatica pain, which can usually be relieved with some form of sciatica treatment. Sciatic nerve pain is caused by injury to or compression of the sciatic nerve.

Causes of Sciatica

Sciatic nerve pain starts when the main nerve into your leg, the sciatic nerve, is irritated, pinched, or compressed in some way. This can happen for one or more of several reasons; the following are the main causes of sciatica:

  • Isthmic Spondylolisthesis – A stress fracture in the fifth lumbar vertebra, known as L5 can cause disc movement and hence sciatic symptoms.
  • Piriformis Syndrome – The Piriformis muscle is located in your lower back and can sometimes spasm, resulting in sciatica symptoms.
  • Degenerative Disc Disease – Discs in your spine age just as you do, and are subject to wear and tear. This is just another way of saying that your discs are aging and one of them has given way, hence pinching, irritating or putting pressure on your sciatic nerve.
  • Lumbar spinal stenosis – Different roots of your sciatic nerve pass through passageways in your spine. The passageways could become smaller, which will result in pinching, irritation or increased pressure on the nerve.
  • Lumbar herniated disc – The discs in your spine are like shock absorbers, which allows the back to bend and swivel. Ageing may weaken or damage these discs and a disc may bulge out or even split, pinching or putting pressure on your sciatic nerve. This is one of the most common causes of sciatica pain.
  • Trauma – Accidents that causes sudden compression of the sciatic nerve can produce great pain, for example, breaking a bone that results in pressure on the nerve.
  • Tumors – This may result in irritation or compression of the sciatic nerve and produce sciatica.
  • Pregnancy – When you carry a baby there is extra strain on your spine, which can cause sciatic pain.

Advice and guidance on sciatica treatment products that are opening sufferers eyes to new sciatic nerve treatment methods can be found by visiting the new website “Guidance On Sciatica Treatment Products”.

Can you get the answers that will remove the pain that sciatica sufferers have to deal with? I personally believe you will, but the only way to really find out is to visit http://www.guidanceon.com/sciatica/.

Conventional or Natural, Treatments For Sciatica

As many of those who suffer from sciatica know, regular treatment for sciatic nerve trouble is not always effective and is often short-lived and needs to be repeated as the symptoms reappear which means a lot of time spent inextreme discomfort

The symptoms have often been difficult to treat, but a new option to this debilitating problem now promises to provide effective relief in most cases with little or no risk.

Get Rid Of Sciatica Naturally Now! Click To Learn How

Natural treatments are also starting to provide some effective suppport alongside conventional treatment and sometimes instead of it as more and more people are turning towards natural relief for sciatic problems, herniated disc or bulging disc and leg or lumbar discomfort and sciatica buttock pain

Causes of Sciatica

Sciatic nerve irritation

The term is often used to describe uncomfortable sensations going down the leg, however the true definition is irritation of the sciatic nerve, which is a combination of several nerves as they leave the lower back. The majority of cases of sciatica are caused by herniated or bulging discs in the lumbar spine. These discs are soft cartilaginous structures that provide cushion between each vertebrae.

Bulging disc/hernia

Discs have both inner and outer portions. The inner area is softer in consistency compared to the outer portion because they have a higher water content. Once the outer fibers become weaker or are damaged the softer material begins to move its way outward because of the pressure on the disc itself. As it moves out it begins to create a bulge or whats called a hernia, causing the disc to protrude outwards and narrowing the hole where the nerve exits.

This can cause pressure and inflammation that can eventually irritate the nerve which in turn causes severe discomfort, numbness or weakness down the legs and in the back

Conventional treatment

Traditional treatment programs typically consist of targetted medication, injections and in severe cases surgery. These approaches may work in the short term to reduce inflammation and decrease the pain somewhat, however they also carry with them significant risk.

The risk to reward benefit is often not worth it long term as most of these treatments are only temporary. If the problem becomes more severe and the nerve is actually compressed then these treatments may offer no relief at all.

Steroid injection

One of the most common treatments applied is steroid injection. This helps to reduce the inflammation. This can definitely bring temporary relief however it has a side effect. Discomfort may come back even worse. It can also trigger an increase in blood sugar.

Surgical intervention

If sciatic pain becomes unbearable then surgical intervention may be recommended. In a small number of cases this treatment may provide relief, at least temporarily. The problem is that surgical outcomes on the spine are low with about a 50% success rate and it brings with it significant risk factors. A common condition called failed back surgery syndrome is associated with spinal surgery and can the result of excessive scar tissue formation, spinal instability after surgery and increased stress on other spinal structures. The risk is also there for the need for a repeat surgery down the road.

Newer methods

Spinal decompression

Spinal decompression is a new procedure that is very effective in relieving symptoms. This treatment doesn’t have any risks or side effects Spinal decompression gently and logarithmicly pulls the spine, safely bypassing the guarding reflex muscle contraction associated with traditional traction. This procedure allows a therapeutic pressure to develop inside the disc space that helps to heal the disc and reduce inflammation or the bulge. This procedure has 80% success rate.

Spinal decompression corrects the problem for a long time. It helps alleviate the discomfort for a long period of time. As the research continues, more and more benefits of spinal decompression continue to arise.

More natural treatments are also available including acupuncture, Eft therapy, special dietary programs to control or reduce inflammation, the use of deep relaxation techniques, such as meditation, the active practice of laughter, massage, chiropractic, magnet therapy and many more.

Discovering The Causes of Sciatica Nerve Pain

Sciatica buttock pain and discomfort in the lower back, hip and leg from sciatic nerve damage are conditions that arise from various causes which create pressure on the nerve requiring sciatica relief treatment

This condition is a medical issue that starts in an individual’s hip or buttock and can move down through the leg. It may impact the region around the knee, in conjunction with causing discomfort in the lower legs. The pain or numbness can range from mild to severe.

Click here For a List of Natural Treatments

The human body is made up of a number of systems that help keep it healthy, which in turn lets folks live their lives to the fullest. Reproduction, respiration, the digestive system, and the circulatory system are just some of the functions that are critical to a healthy life. Another important aspect of the body’s ability to function is the nervous system. This is a complex system of nerves that run through the body and send messages through the spine to the brain. It is one of the body’s most important systems.

Pinched nerve

Occasionally, however, these nerves can be compressed, or “pinched”, in between the spinal disks, which can make for some severe back trouble, and also other areas of the body. This pinching process can cause the distressing condition called sciatica. If you think you are suffering from this, it is important to know what it is, and what causes it.

It is a condition impacting at least one of the sciatic nerves which are the longest nerves in the body, moving from the lower spine and extending down each leg.

Old age and disc herniation

One of the most prevalent reasons for this type of nerve problem is old age. This is due to the fact that a certain amount of deterioration takes place when the body grows older. A crucial component of the human body which is disturbed by this innate progression is the spine. Subsequently, as the spine is damaged, the collapse of the vertebrae causes damage to the sciatic nerves that are situated there.

A herniated disk can also result in sciatic nerve pain. If there’s physical trauma, improper exercise, or even if you lift heavy objects incorrectly, this condition can be the result. If herniation is present, the discs located between the vertebrae will protrude. As a consequence, this can put pressure or stresses on a sciatic nerve.

It is a painful condition that affects the lower body from the hips through the legs. It’s the result of pressure being placed on this nerve, located at the base of the spine. Learn more about the causes of sciatica nerve problems and how to treat the condition at Sciatic Nerve Pain Treatment.

Sitting discomfort – The Physio Forum – Online physiotherapy discussion

… that the unguided injection had spilled over into sciatic nerve thus masking aching from bulge – however caudal epidural had no effect and subsequent nerve conduction studies indicated that the bulge is not the cause of buttock trouble.

Pinched Nerve Lower Back – Lumbar Nerve Compression

Nerve compression at L3, L4, and L5 results in symptoms, caused by pressure on the sciatic nerve. Shooting pain may be felt at the lower back, radiating down to the buttocks, thigh and legs.

Extreme or Slight Sciatica is Extremely Uncomfortable

It can be anything from rare and irritating to extreme and crippling. Usually, it affects only one side, moving down the buttock and along the leg and is frequently associated with a constant ache

If you’re suffering from back pain problems, there are countless grounds why you are feeling pain in your back.

For a list of natural remedies that I have found to be very good and effective for sciatica pain and prevention Click here

To reduce your back pain, one thing you might need to do is back pain excercise which is designed to strengthen your back muscles.

Most back pain problems can have a decent chance of being cured easily with the relevant back exercises which are designed to strengthen your back muscles. To prevent your back muscles from becoming weaker and stiffening up, you need to do the exercises regularly. Stretching exercises are rewarding and powerful and keeping the spine in good shape through the strengthening of the ligaments and muscles of your back.

Most people will suffer from back pain problems often report that their lower back suffers the most. All the same, most lower back problems can be treated with the fitting low back pain exercises which you need to do regularly. Relaxing your back muscles and freeing them from undue tension are two very critical things that you need to remember while performing the exercises.

You must also realise that performing these exercises will not cure your back pain overnight. A balance in all areas of life including your diet, posture and mental attitude are of great consequence to the success of this treatment. Although adequate rest is required, you want to avoid resting on your bed for too long because your back condition might get worse and the healing process might take longer.

It is highly recommended that you confer with your doctor first for further medical advice and make sure that it’s safe for you to do the back pain exercising. Seeing that everyone has unalike physical conditions, certain back exercises may not be apt for certain back pain conditions. That is why it is consequential that you pick the appropriate exercises for your back condition to make the healing process faster.

For others, the  symptoms might be infrequent and irritating, but have the potential to get worse especially if one doesn’t try to find the right treatment. In this connection, you might wonder what is the best way to get rid of sciatica symptoms? Is it some sort of medication prescribed by the doctor or could it be some sort of therapies in the form of exercises? There are other medical reports that say that two of the most effective treatments are yoga and tai chi.

Yoga and Tai Chi Exercise

With yoga being as popular as it is there should be no surprise that there are many different yoga exercise styles. Some of today’s yoga exercise styles have been around for hundreds of years while other yoga exercise styles have been created and based off some of the most common yoga postures and poses. Today, even in the world of medicine and health, some people have used yoga mainly for treating different diseases. Yoga is also used as the best exercise for sciatica and so far, this is the best sciatic nerve treatment that any  patient can have.

But are yoga or tai chi  the best treatment for this kind of ailment? If you go through the Internet, you will find that there are more than a dozen different treatments and it includes a lot of alternative sciatica exercises. Sometimes, a patient might be confused as to what kind of treatment is best for him. Some people might find a specific treatment to be effective for them but not for the other or vice-versa. Lower Back Pain Exercises – An Introduction To Back Posture Overhaul

Lower back pain can be agonizing

Without an efficient and healthy lower back, every moment spent sitting or standing can be challenging, leaving us hopelessly wondering if the pain might ever lessen or vanish.

It could be due to sciatic nerve pain, or just poor posture. Pain from an unknown origin is also quite worrisome, since we can’t rid ourselves of it if we aren’t sure what causes it, often wondering if expensive drugs or surgeries might do the trick.

There is hope, however. Unless resulting from a serious trauma such as a break, most lower back pain can be lessened or eliminated completely and naturally by a good postural program and a regular exercise routine.

The lower back carries more weight than we may realize, even when our bodies feel relaxed and appear to be at rest. The head, shoulders and even the arms apply vertical pressure on the lower back and spine during every moment spent up-right, even when we sit.

Much of this support is derived from the lower back’s inward curve toward the body , forming an arch. Arches are stable structures capable of efficiently supporting heavy loads and, in a classic case of function following form, feature heavily in modern and ancient architecture.

Unfortunately, we often unknowingly compromise this natural support in many ways that feel completely relaxed. We do things that pull our vertebrae out of alignment, thus reducing or eliminating the natural arch. If the vertebrae are improperly aligned, back pain develops.

The musculature of the spine is often not developed well enough to maintain a natural posture, causing us to hunch. Sometimes we act to correct the problems ourselves without fully knowing how, unintentionally straining and causing tension that only makes things worse.

A proper posture program

A proper posture program, including lower back pain exercises will teach your body to find a comfortable stance, one you can hold for long periods, and train your body to hold it that way. By maintaining good and efficient posture, the pain you have long experienced will slowly diminish, or may even disappear entirely. What was once agonizing will then feel relaxed and natural.

A complete postural adjustment program should strengthen disused muscles so they aren’t fatigued when assuming efficient posture. It should also include stretches to increase flexibility. Relaxation exercises are also important, as tension can also inhibit good posture and encourage developing new bad habits. Finally, body awareness is essential to identify inefficiencies before they cause new pain and introduce new problems that must be corrected later.

All four of these criteria are essential for a good postural program. Without one, you may feel better at first, but over time the aches and pains will return as your body settles into its old and inefficient routines. When combined, however, these four types of exercise support and re-enforce each other. They’ll help you to not only acquire new good habits, but to maintain them, and to prevent inefficiencies from developing.

Better posture is not only important for pain management. It’s great for confidence as well. Those who stride through life standing straight and with heads held high are often treated with distinction, seen as inspirational. Striving to improve your posture is not only simple, but can have effects in many areas of life beyond naturally eliminating pains that may have plagued you for years. It is only a few steps away.

What Is The Best Sciatica Cure?

Most people who are in their old age already can be victims of sciatica, which is a pain that results from irritation of one of the sciatic nerves and includes pain in the hip and buttock area.

But the fact of the matter is, anyone can have sciatic problems, even those who are still in the prime of their age can experience sciatica especially when they try to do some sudden twisted motions that could irritate or compress the sciatic nerves found on the back of the leg all the way up to the lower back. For some, this can be a temporary problem but if they can’t find some right sciatic stretches exercises in time, it could turn for the worse.

Sciatic problems can be easily eliminated only if you know what type of remedy that is good for it. The problem is, most people may have found the right sciatic pain treatment but they don t do their own part so that their health problem can be eliminated in time. Yes, they can exercise their sciatic nerves to bring it back to its original state but if they keep on doing things that have made their sciatic nerves painful and tender, then, that treatment they have been using is worthless. So, what are the things you need to do in order to prevent sciatica or to get rid of sciatica as soon as possible? First of all, if you’re lifting something, don’t lift while standing, meaning, you have to squat down in order to lift something without hurting your back.

It’s really very important that you should also take care of your body and be conscious of what you’re doing especially when it involves your back or your spine. However, if you are thinking about a sciatic cure in the form of drugs like steroids or painkillers, you better go to the doctor first but if you need natural help, go and look for these specific sciatic exercises.

Everything you need to know in treating sciatic nerve pain

There are a number of uncommon remedies available for reducing pain arising from Sciatic nerves. Since most sciatic nerve treatments are uncommon, they are not well publicized and as a result, your finding out about them can provide you with a possible plan to alleviate your condition.

It is unfortunate how many people continue to suffer from the condition believing they can take no action. Taking control of your condition by exploring and using uncommon remedies will hopefully not only alleviate some of the pain but also make you feel less powerless against the problem.

These kinds of painful symptoms are  not uncommon but the likelihood of it developing is increased under some circumstances. Naturally one should avoid these factors particularly if you are anywhere from 30 to 40 years old as this is when it strikes most often.

Be very aware of the characteristics of your job that can cause health hazards. If you are required to lift heavy objects, to stay seated for extended periods, or you work at a job with a lot of stress, you are more apt to suffer from Sciatica pain. The likelihood of developingit increases if you have other health issues such as being overweight or having diabetes.

While probably the last thing you want to think about when suffering is exercise, doing so can actually help treat the issue. Take some time to learn about exercises developed specifically forsuch issues, which can diminish your discomfort. As with any fitness regime, make sure you stretch before and after your workout, which will lessen the chances of worsening the condition, or even causing new problems. Make a commitment to exercise every day, even if only for short periods.

Take particular care in your posture when you sit down or stand up. Movement sitting or standing may exacerbate the pain if you keep bad posture. No only your own movement but what equipment you have while you are at rest could cause or alleviate pain. Your mattress for instance may be too hard or soft causing you to sleep in positions that heighten the symptoms. By examining your posture, and looking into your chairs, beds and other furnishings, you should be able to alter your body positioning or replace these items to get relief.

When it strikes, you just want relief as quickly as possible. One method that is effective for many  sufferers is alternate application of heat and cold to the afflicted area. This simple treatment requires only a heating pad and an ice pack. When the pain begins, apply the ice pack for about 15 minutes, and then remove. This can be repeated as needed to help reduce both pain and inflammation. After two days, supplement the cold pack with heat therapy for additional relief.

After the initial treatment you can substitute heat for 48 hours. Pain lasting more than four days should be treated by swapping between the two techniques. However if the pain is still present at this time, you should consider approaching a medical professional for their diagnosis.

By following these steps and doing some homework on your own, you will soon find out that there are a few sciatic nerve treatments and you should get relief in no time.

Causes Of Sciatica And Treatment

Sciatica Pain is caused due to the irritation of sciatic nerve specifically in lower back, back of thighs and hip region. Often, treatments are varied depending on the causes of the visible symptoms.

Here are some suggested home treatments you can use to help ease the pain alongside consultation with a specialist:

treatment for sciatica

What is Sciatica?
If you are a sedentary worker experiencing back pain or lower body pain, especially in the legs in the form of numbness, tingling and you have a problem walking or flexing your muscles, consult a doctor immediately. The cause of this could be a condition known as sciatica.

Sciatica is a set of conditions that are caused when the sciatic nerve which is the largest nerve with the diameter as that of a finger in the body is pressurized or an irritation occurs in the radicular nerve that exits the lower spine it causes pain in the lower body especially the lower back, the back of thighs and legs and the hip region. Thus this condition is also known as radiculopathy. Sciatica is not always very serious and generally resolves in 4-6 weeks but in some cases it may require surgery, especially when caused due to infections or tumors and in such situations it is best to have the opinion of a medical practitioner promptly.

Sciatica Symptoms
The most common signs and symptoms of sciatica are pain in the lower extremities of the body especially starting at the base of the spine and routing downwards along the path of the sciatic nerve or nerve root to the pelvic region, buttocks, thighs, back of the legs and foot. This pain may be a slight nuisance pain that can be a tingling pain or even a burning sensation and numbness that can vary in intensity and also be constant or intermittent developing gradually, making it hard to detect always.

Sciatica usually occurs only on one side of the body.

Causes of Sciatica
Sciatica pain is generally seen in people who need to spend long amounts of time sitting or standing and bad posture and lack of muscle movement causes the muscles to constrict or be irritated causing pain. It can even be bought on by hard sneezes, coughing fits and lifting something, these activities may cause pressure on the spine and thus it may irritate the radicular nerve by extending beyond its normal position.

Commonly the major cause can be pinned as disc herniation in the lumbar spine which presses directly on the sciatic nerve and any triggers by such a reaction for example by irritation of the nerve from adjacent bone which in turn produces the symptoms of sciatica. Besides a compressed or a pinched nerve, other causes could also be tumors, muscle, internal bleeding, infections, injury etc. thus sciatica is not really a disease by itself but rather many other dependants make it into a medical condition worthy of attention. Even something as simple as muscle strain may cause the muscle to freeze up or be “pulled” and gradually develop into this problem.

Spinal stenosis is the constriction or narrowing of the spaces in the spine that causes the spine or the nerves to be compressed in a way that it causes pain especially in the lower back.

In advanced spinal osteoarthritis, a bit of cartilage may break away and become mobile in the spinal area and become a reason of irritation and inflammation which when occurring in the lower back region may develop into sciatica by putting undue pressure on the sciatic nerve. This is also called in degenerative disc disease.

If a vertebra slips over the other, which is commonly called as slipped disc or Spondylolisthesis the skewed vertebra could pressurize the sciatic nerve.

There are still other issues which can trigger sciatica pain like Piriformis syndrome, sacroiliac joint dysfunction etc which are not really sciatica but these diseases may also set off sciatica because of their symptoms.

Sciatica Treatment
In cases which are very extreme sciatica can be serious enough for being operated upon. Thus, it becomes very important to diagnose the real cause for sciatica in order to rule out the possibility of another serious heath problem which could require immediate attention and/or surgery.

Sciatica treatment should only be carried out by a trained health professional. Besides anti-inflammatory medication and analgesics, exercise is also prescribed under the care of a physiotherapist. As the type of exercise depends on the cause of sciatic pain they must be done after consultation and practiced on a regular basis, twice a day to provide complete relief from pain. Though bed rest may seem like the better option but inactivity results in the muscles degenerating further and exercising them makes them more mobile by boosting circulation and helps to adequately carry the fluids and nutrients across the system.

Minding the body posture and avoiding soft surfaces that encourage slouching must be a part of treatment. Being in the same position for long or lifting things puts strains on the spinal chord as well as the muscles in the hips and legs thus that must also be avoided.

It is best to consult a doctor immediately in order to diagnose the problem correctly and ensure that appropriate steps are taken or this could develop into a grave problem.

Understanding Lower Back Pain And What You Can Do About It

One possibility is a pinched nerve, which can be identified if you feel a sharp pain that begins to spread to your buttocks or even down your leg. Typically it is the sciatic nerve that suffers from a herniated disc or pinched nerve.

Pinched Nerve Causes, Symptoms, Diagnosis, and Treatment

A pinched nerve is caused when a nerve is somehow damaged or injured by direct pressure or compression and is unable to properly conduct its signal. There are many potential causes for a pinched nerve, depending on the location

Back Pain Problem

If you have pain in your back when you cough, weakness in your legs that doesn’t get better, pain in the back with a fever, loss of bladder or bowel control it might mean that you have a pinched nerve or perhaps another condition.
